Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift to serve as Charge Nurse on the skilled nursing and rehabilitation team.

You will provide quality resident care, administer medications, supervise CNAs, and coordinate with physicians and families while upholding infection control, safety policies, and regulatory compliance. This full-time role offers daily pay options and opportunities for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Current, active Missouri LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing team.
• Charge nurse or nursing leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LPN Charge Nurse and nursing leader on the assigned night shift.
• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in health status.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented environment.
