Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the night shift as Charge Nurse. This full-time position focuses on resident care and nursing leadership during overnight hours.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Missouri RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and bring experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. You will oversee nursing staff, administer medications, document accurately, and ensure quality, compliant care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RN Charge Nurse and nursing leader on the assigned night shift.
• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in health status.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented environment.

RN Night Shift Charge Nurse Responsibilities
