Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Night Shift Charge Nurse, leading the nursing team and delivering compassionate resident care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will act as a clinical resource on the night shift, coordinating care and supervising staff.

This full-time position requires an active Missouri RN license and CPR/BLS certification, with preferred experience in long-term care or post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Charge nurse or nursing leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RN Charge Nurse and nursing leader on the assigned night shift.
• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in health status.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented environment.

RN Night Shift Charge Nurse Responsibilities
