Job summary

Wellpath in Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Worcester County Jail HOC facility. Working under RN supervision, you will provide patient education, administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and support daily care in a secure correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of clinic experience preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy if certified, per protocol.
• Assist in procedures and support safety and standard precautions.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting and communicate with staff and physicians.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training for ongoing professional development.
