This role emphasizes autonomy, high-quality care, and ongoing training; requires an accredited nursing education and CPR certification. IV certification is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year clinic experience preferred.
• IV Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning in accordance with Nursing Practice Act and correctional health policies.
• Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through established protocols.
• Implement nutrition and therapeutic diets and assist in medical procedures as necessary.
• Document nursing encounters and communicate information to healthcare staff.
