Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for the MCI-Norfolk in Norfolk, MA. The LPN will deliver quality care within the LPN scope, monitor patients, administer medications, and support health promotion and restoration for offenders in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
• Possesses an active CPR certification.
• Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.
• Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Monitors patients and reports changes to medical staff.
• Assists in teaching plans for patient health promotion and restoration.
• Cares for wounds with cleaning and dressing.
• Administers medications to offenders.
• Maintains accurate MAR and medical records.
