Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a compassionate Medication Nurse (LPN) to support patients on their recovery journey. You will administer methadone, screen patients, and monitor progress in a patient-centered program focused on dignity and recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in Indiana.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in chemical addiction is a plus.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment and clinical devices.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to act independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Administer methadone as prescribed, ensuring safe dosing.
• Evaluate and assess patients to determine appropriate treatment.
• Observe patients after medication administration and assess response.
• Collect and document urine specimens; monitor lab work and physicals.
• Create a welcoming, respectful environment for every patient.
• Help ensure the treatment center meets regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure medications are received, stored, and handled per DEA regulations.
• Prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages with accuracy.
• Keep patient dosing records complete and up to date.
