Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care for our residents. You will administer meds, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor symptoms while maintaining compliance with Six Rights and narcotic counts.

We seek an active LPN in good standing with CPR/First Aid, strong assessment and documentation skills, and prior senior care or medication administration experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
