Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and document care in real time. This role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to the Six Rights, and accurate MAR/TAR entries in a prestigious senior living environment.

The position requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong assessment and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts
• Uphold compliance standards
