Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications per orders, monitor residents, and document care in MAR/TAR with accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license in good standing, CPR/First Aid certification, and prior experience in senior care or medication administration. The role involves maintaining compliance, charting, and collaborating with the care team on care plans.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts.
