Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR documentation.

You will follow the Six Rights, document in real time, report changes, and collaborate with the care team to update care plans while upholding regulatory standards. This role emphasizes resident safety and clinical precision in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills; experience in senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Pay Range:

32.45 - 43.30

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
