Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Huntington Station, NY, is seeking an experienced LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications per physician orders, monitor residents, and maintain MAR/TAR accuracy in real time.

You will uphold the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document diligently, monitor symptoms, and report changes promptly while supporting care plan updates and SHUs. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

Pay Range: 32.45 - 43.30
