Sunrise Senior Living in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support and safe medication administration. You will monitor residents, document accurately in MAR/TAR, and support care plans with timely updates.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong assessment and documentation skills. Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred; extensive benefits and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications per physician orders and maintain MAR/TAR accuracy.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and document in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and provide medications for relief as ordered.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly and observe changes.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Maintain medication carts and perform narcotic counts.
• Uphold safety, regulatory standards, and resident safety.

• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Pay Range:

29.25 - 39.05
