Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Yonkers, NY is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents, report adverse reactions, and support care plan updates.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We're Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
