Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care to residents. You will administer medications per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR, monitor symptoms, and support care plans in collaboration with the care team.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, strong assessment and documentation skills, and prior experience in senior care or medication administration.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct SHUs and transcribe physician orders.
• Support care plan updates and observe changes in residents.
• Maintain medication carts, count narcotics, and uphold compliance.
