Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry Unit is hiring a licensed practical nurse to provide direct patient care on the Med Surg floor during night shifts. You will apply the nursing process under supervision, coordinate care with other departments, and protect patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire; LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri.
