Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care by administering medication and treatments safely and organized. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care, all in accordance with laws, regulations, and Sunrise policies to ensure the highest quality of care and service.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Support the Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values of Sunrise.
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Document medication administration and resident information accurately.
• Assist with medication updates and assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality and promote dignity and safety for residents.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.
• Participate in training and contribute to team success.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as LPN, LVN, or equivalent in the state/province.
• Maintain required certifications such as CPR and First Aid.
• At least 18 years old with a desire to serve seniors.
• Effective communication skills and good judgment.
