Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide licensed nursing care in ambulatory settings under supervision. You will collect clinical data, administer meds, support exams, and educate patients while documenting care per protocol.

You will work under established protocols, escalate variances, and apply foundational nursing knowledge to assigned tasks. EHR proficiency and strong patient communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records and clinical equipment.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and medications.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and routine nursing interventions.
• Prepare patients and rooms for visits, tests, and procedures.
• Perform nursing procedures, specimen collection, and wound care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and follow-up care.
• Document assessments and care activities in the EHR.
• Escalate changes in patient condition to the supervising clinician.
