Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood, upholding nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines.

You will develop relationships with residents and families, assess and document clinical status in the EMR, update care plans, supervise care associates, administer medications, and participate in resident outcomes meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and evaluate residents' clinical condition and document in the EMR.
• Update or modify care plans as needed to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and per orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Contribute to clinical indicator reviews and other duties as assigned.
