Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide bedside nursing in a long-term care setting. The role involves administering medications, monitoring residents, and collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

You will document care accurately, communicate changes to RNs and physicians, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants on the unit while adhering to infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor for changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to Certified Nursing Assistants on the assigned unit.

• Communicate changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.
