Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision of an RN or physician.

You will administer medications, monitor resident status, and maintain accurate documentation while supervising CNAs and ensuring infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program (required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the state of practice (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to Certified Nursing Assistants on the assigned unit.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the resident record and medication administration record.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.

Education & Experience

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting: Preferred
