Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a long-term care setting. You will deliver nursing care under supervision, administer medications, monitor residents, and supervise CNAs, while maintaining accurate documentation and communicating status changes to the care team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants on the unit as appropriate.
• Complete accurate documentation in the resident chart and MAR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to RN, physician, and family when appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements for long-term care.

Job Summary

Delivers nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician. Administers medications and treatments, monitors resident status, and supervises the work of Certified Nursing Assistants. Maintains accurate clinical documentation and communicates changes in resident condition to the care team.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program: Required
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
