Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a long-term care setting. The role involves delivering nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, administering medications, and monitoring resident status.

The position requires graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, and a current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice, plus BLS certification. Prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate to Certified Nursing Assistants on the unit as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the resident record and MAR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.
