Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for long-term care to deliver nursing care under RN/ physician direction. You administer meds, monitor residents, and supervise CNAs, with emphasis on accurate documentation and resident communication.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, LPN/LVN license in the state, and BLS certification; prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; required.
• LPN/LVN licensure in state of practice; required.
• BLS certification; required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to Certified Nursing Assistants on the assigned unit.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the resident record and MAR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.
