Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide basic nursing care and assist with resident assessments on admission and ongoing care. You will document findings, communicate changes to the IDT, and implement safe nursing interventions including medications and treatments.

Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential. Administration of IV fluids is included for IV-certified staff.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Experience in long-term care/rehab/assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care and assists in resident assessment on admission and ongoing basis.
• Documents assessments accurately and communicates changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Implements nursing interventions and manages medications/treatments safely and timely.
• Maintains composure and uses SBARR for physician notification; supports care plan updates.
