Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a long-term care setting. The role involves delivering nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician, administering medications, and supervising CNAs while maintaining accurate documentation.

The position requires a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN/LVN licensure in the state of practice, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to CNAs on the unit.
• Document accurately and timely in the resident record and MAR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements for long-term care.
