Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment used in the care of patients.
• Administers and documents medications.
• Performs or assists with treatments and procedures.
• Teaches patient and family health care as per care plan.
• Records vital signs and weights.
• Administers internal feedings.
• Monitors patient conditions and documents findings.
• Reports status to nurse in charge.
• Performs charge duties when directed.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Transports patients as needed and participates in in-service education.
• For LTCC assignments: IV meds/infusions, EKG, pulse oximetry, phlebotomy.
