Job summary

Erie County Medical Center Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Long-Term Care unit (LTC) on the Day Shift. This part-time, on-site role is based at the Delaware Park campus in Buffalo, NY, 14215.

The LPN will perform routine nursing duties, administer medications, monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with the nursing team under supervision. A NYSED license and BLS are required; a valid NY driver’s license is required for Health Department postings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse licensed by NYSED.
• Special ECMCC requirement: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Health Department positions require a valid NYS driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Administers and documents medications.
• Performs nursing assessments and vital signs.
• Teaches patient and family health care procedures as outlined in care plans.
• Documents patient status and communicates changes to supervising staff.
