Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting in Brainerd, MN. The role reports to a supervising RN or physician and involves performing nursing procedures, assessments, and documentation while upholding confidentiality and resident safety.

The position features day shifts, a 36-hour workweek, and a $29.00-$36.00 hourly wage with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and additional weekend incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Current licensed practical nurse in good standing with state board (or multi-state licensure).
• Annual CEU and competency training requirements for the department and facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Demonstrate nursing principles and apply age/population specific standards.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status and provide needed care.
• Assess residents, administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Maintain documentation of resident interactions and outcomes with confidentiality.
