South Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team in Birmingham, AL. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor residents, and collaborate with RNs and therapists to support recovery goals in our long-term care setting.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus, hourly pay range of $25.00–$32.00, full-time schedule 11pm–7am, shift differential, and robust benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, including vital signs, and report changes.
• Assist with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to support recovery goals, including therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, assist with rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure the highest standards of care in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
