Job summary

Amedisys in Lexington, South Carolina is seeking a licensed practical nurse for full-time days with a flexible schedule. You will provide one-to-one home health care, verify plans of care with the RN, and support patients where they feel most comfortable—at home.

The role offers competitive pay of $24–$30 per hour, paid time off, health plans, and a 401(k) match. Candidates must have an LPN license, CPR, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license valid for the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to ensure patient needs are met; notify changes promptly.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review all medications and perform medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (e.g. foley catheter changes).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
