Orchard Grove, part of Apple Rehab, invites an LPN Charge Nurse to join our compassionate care team in Montville, CT. You’ll plan and supervise nursing services for residents in a warm, family-focused setting.

We offer full-time, part-time and per diem roles with rates $36.07–$41.38 hourly plus evening/night/weekend differentials. Weekend on-call is required; per diem pickups earn an extra $5/hour. Benefits include health, 401(k) and PTO.

Job Opportunity:

LPN Charge Nurse

Rate Range:

Starting at $36.07-$41.38 per hour, plus evening, night, and weekend shift differentials! $5 p/h additional for pick up!

Responsibilities

The LPN Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This includes adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions.

LPN Key Duties:

• Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape.
• Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
• Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies.

LPN Requirements:

• Valid state LPN nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Additional:

All LPN positions require a weekend on-call rotation to support both staff and residents. Compensation details available upon inquiry. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
