Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; LPN license with IV certification.
• Nursing licensure as LPN and current credentials essential.
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to patients under physician supervision.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and med administration.
• Assists with procedures and initiates/discontinues IV fluids as directed.
• Maintains HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA compliance and infection prevention processes.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and accurate charting.
• Triage calls and conveys results to provider with proper medical terminology.
