The role focuses on direct patient care under a physician, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and preparing for procedures in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, EKGs, IV therapy as ordered, medication administration, and accurate charting while upholding HIPAA and CLIA standards.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care under physician supervision in ambulatory care.
• Room patients, take vitals, administer medications in-office.
• Initiate/discontinue IV fluids and perform point-of-care testing.
• Maintain HIPAA/CLIA/OSHA compliance and accurate charting.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing services within scope of LPN practice.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs and tests.
• Assists with procedures and IV management as directed.
• Triages patient phone calls and communicates results to providers.
