BJC Medical Group in Missouri is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for ambulatory care in Cardiology located in O'Fallon & St. Peter's. The role emphasizes direct patient care in an outpatient setting with no on-call weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, vitals, in-office meds, IV initiation/discontinuation, point-of-care testing, and triaging calls under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate charting in the patient’s record.
• Triage calls and provide test and lab results to patients with correct medical terminology.
• Initiates/discontinues IV fluids as directed and assists with procedures.
