Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care, assist with resident assessments, and participate in care planning. You will document interventions and communicate changes to the IDT and families, ensuring safe administration of meds and IV therapies as certified.

The role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and time management. IV and CPR certifications are required or must be obtained within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
• Long-term care / Rehab / Assisted Living experience preferred.
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care by assisting in resident assessments on admission and ongoing basis.
• Documents interventions accurately and timely; communicates plan to IDT and families.
• Implements nursing interventions per care plan, including IV and medication administration.
• Notifies physician timely using SBARR and remains composed during crises.
