Job summary

Georgia Department of Public Health in Augusta, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse II to join the Richmond County Health Department. The role performs vital sign checks, vaccines administration, and assists with hearing, dental and vision exams, with EMR documentation and supervision under a registered nurse.

Starting salary is $46,000. A high school diploma/GED, LPN with NCLEX-PN, and at least one year of LPN experience are required.

• Employee will report directly under supervision of a registered nurse and County Nurse Manager.

All East Central Health District 6 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to: staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.

High School Diploma/GED Graduate of an accredited LPN program with passage of NCLEX-PN exam

At least 1 year experience as a LPN
