Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Chattanooga is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients. Shift options include day and night with 8, 10, or 12 hours.

Caseload may include G-tube, Trach, and Vent support. Competitive pay, weekly payroll, and comprehensive benefits accompany sign-on bonuses. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, assessing patients, and documenting care per orders.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Job description

Est. pay: $25 - $32 per hour (case by case specific)

Sign on bonus: $1,200 Day shift and up to $4,000 Night shift
