Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in patients' homes. The role offers a sign-on bonus, competitive pay and benefits, and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, providing skilled nursing care per orders, and monitoring patient status with thorough documentation. Active LPN/LVN licensure in the practicing state is required, along with current TB/Chest X-ray and BLS.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
