Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Athens is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. Varied patient acuities include G-tube, Trach, and Vent, with day or night shifts of 8, 10, and 12 hours.

Est. pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, and sign-on bonuses up to $4,000 for night shifts and $1,200 for day shifts. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), PTO and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document diagnoses.
