Job summary

Maxim Healthcare of Knoxville, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. No homecare experience required and optional paid training with Johns Hopkins University to advance skills.

We offer weekly pay, full-time, part-time, and PRN positions with day and night shifts, plus 8-, 10-, or 12-hour options. Generous benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms of physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
