Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with an adult patient in their home in Charlotte, NC. Day and night shifts are available, with competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and provide skilled nursing services per orders while maintaining documentation and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
