Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Western Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care to adult patients in Palmer, MA. This Part-Time role offers weekend shifts and competitive hourly pay of $40–$43 per hour.

You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders while monitoring patient status and documenting findings. A current LPN/LVN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
