Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Western Massachusetts is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in Chicopee, Massachusetts. 3p-11p is preferred Monday-Friday.

LPN hourly rate: $40-43/hr. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; on each assignment, provide skilled nursing services per orders; monitor and document patient changes; and support data-driven nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practice state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
