Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Western Massachusetts is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The shift 3p-11p is preferred Monday-Friday, with an hourly rate of $40-43.

The LPN will provide skilled nursing care under prescribed orders, perform assessments, and document patient information. Current LPN license and BLS are required; one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse with active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• Current TB or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
