Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) to provide 1:1 at-home pediatric care. Day, night, part-time, and full-time shifts are available. We offer paid skills advancement training and programs for novice nurses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
