Empath Health’s Empath Home Health in Ocala, FL is seeking a compassionate PRN Home Health LPN to provide individualized nursing care in patients’ homes across Marion, Lake, and Sumter counties. The role includes 5-15+ visits weekly with required weekend and holiday rotations.

You will work under an RN, perform plan of care tasks, monitor patients, and educate families on medications and diets, while receiving strong interdisciplinary support and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and a current Florida LPN license.
• Minimum one year experience and/or training in home health care preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.

Locations: Home health visits in Ocala, FL area (Marion, Lake, and/or Sumter counties).

Schedule : PRN; 5-15+ home health visits per week. Required weekend/holiday rotations.

What You’ll Do

• Provides nursing services in compliance with agency policy and procedure, state and federal regulations, and the patient’s plan of care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observes patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the Clinical Coordinator.
• Assists the Physician and/or Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care and in performing specialized procedures.
• Performs patient and family instruction on diet, medication, and treatment.

What You’ll need:

• Applicants must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and own a current Florida LPN license.
• Minimum one (1) year experience and/or training in home health care preferred.
• Intravenous (IV) Certification preferred.
