Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on nursing care in Milwaukee, including medication administration, point-of-care testing, vaccinations, and documentation in a patient-centered clinic.

You will collaborate with RNs and Advanced Practice Providers, maintain thorough records, and adhere to clinical protocols. Schedule is 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a pay rate of $37/hour.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Hands-on clinical experience with medication administration and direct patient care.
• Experience with phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Experience administering vaccines and IM/SubQ medications.
• Ability to document patient care in an electronic health record (EHR).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with established policies and safety principles.
• Complete medication refills according to provider orders and procedures.
• Provide direct nursing care based on individual healthcare needs and plans of care.
• Perform point-of-care specimen collection, including phlebotomy.
• Administer vaccines and IM/SubQ medications within LPN scope.
• Provide routine nursing treatments (e.g., wound care, topical meds).
• Monitor patients during/after treatments and report changes to RN/AP provider.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatments in the EHR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and healthcare team.
• Follow infection-control procedures and organizational policies.
