Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a clinical care role in Oregon, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have strong medication administration, phlebotomy, treatment and patient assessment skills and be able to respond to urgent patient needs within the LPN scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience with medication administration and medication safety protocols.
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen collection skills.
• Experience administering vaccines and IM/SubQ medications.
• Experience providing wound care and other routine nursing treatments.
• Proficiency documenting patient care in an electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications while adhering to established medication rights and patient safety protocols.
• Complete medication refills according to Provider orders and established procedures.
• Provide direct patient care to meet individual health needs in accordance with established plans of care.
• Complete point-of-care sample collection, including phlebotomy.
• Administer vaccines and other IM/SubQ medications.
• Provide routine treatments including wound care and dressing changes, enema administration, topical applications, colostomy care, surgical prep.
• Monitor patient response to treatments and report observations and changes to RN/AP.
