Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and coordinate care for residents in a compassionate geriatric setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, document in EMR, administer medications, and monitor treatments while promoting safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and following the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Gerontological nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing within licensure scope and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to define resident care plans.
• Passes and/or oversees medication orders and administration.
• May initiate IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Maintains and documents through EMR per policy.
• Observes residents and coordinates with services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains safe, comfortable environment and reports incidents.
